Frequently Asked Questions

Enrolments

For each child, a completed enrolment form, an up to date Immunisation History Statement and any relevant action plans must be provided prior to attending child care. This information authorises staff to act in case of an emergency.

All enrolments must be completed online.

See My Family Lounge to commence the enrolment process.

Bookings

Our child care service is licensed for 50 children and we must ensure compliance across its operation. Bookings are essential and can be made through the My Family Lounge web page or via the My Family Lounge app. Bookings and cancellations may be made up to seven days in advance and up to 9:00pm on the day prior to requiring care.

You can download the app from the Google Play store or App Store. Simply search for the My Family Lounge app.

Signing In/Out

A parent or guardian must sign in and out using our iPad when dropping off or collecting their children. As per regulations no child will be given into custody of another person unless authorisation in writing has been given.

Anaphylaxis, Allergies and Asthma

The Casey ARC Child Care has children that attend with severe allergies and life threatening anaphylaxis. Due to this we have a ‘No Nut’ policy in place. This policy refers to foods such as nuts, muesli bars containing nuts and spreads such as peanut butter and Nutella.

If your child suffers from anaphylaxis, allergies or asthma, you will need to book a time with our Child Care Team Leader to complete a risk management plan. This plan must be completed before the child can begin child care.

What is the difference between Occasional Care and Sessional Care?

Occassional Care is for children who parents or carers leave the Casey ARC facility to attend appointments, shopping etc.

Sessional Care is for children whose parents or carers remain within the Casey ARC facility.

Prices vary depending on the care option chosen.

Can I leave the Centre while my child is in the care?

If your child is enrolled in occasional care, yes you are able to leave the Centre.

Otherwise, you must remain on the premises at all times.
